This is a VITAL key to optimum health, energy and vitality. 

Regardless of where a person lives, no one is free from the enormous amount of environmental and stress toxins assaulting us on a regular basis in our world. Studies have shown that we would have to return to the early 1900’s to find foods that are free of impurities.  

Detoxification is a basic and automatic function that our bodies do naturally.  However today, our bodies are fighting a much greater battle than in years and decades past.  Our systems and organs that were once capable of cleaning out toxic material are now completely overloaded and much of the toxins stay in our bodies.  This is why detoxifying through special diets and processes can be a huge missing link to disease prevention.

Toxic-laden tissues can become a breeding ground for disease. Elimination organs, especially the bowel, must be properly taken care of to restore and maintain good health. A detox program cleans out waste deposits, in our organs, blood and tissues so you aren’t running with a dirty engine or driving with brakes on.  After a cleanse, the body starts rebalancing, energy levels rise physically, psychologically, and creativity begins to expand.  You start feeling wonderful and like a different person…because you are! Detox programs and cleanses are available in many forms.  It is simple for us to customize a cleanse to your individual needs.  Unless you require a specific detox for serious illness, or recovery from a long course of drugs or chemical therapy, I usually recommend doing a cleanse at least twice a year, especially in the spring (you can consider it ‘spring cleaning) summer or early autumn when sunshine and natural vitamin D can help the process along.

One important note to consider is, detoxing can be as simple or as complicated as you want to make it.  In my practice I always strive to make things as simple as possible.  It has been whats always worked best in my 20 + years experience.  On that note, keep in mind one of the main goals in a detox is to reduce the toxic exposure on the body and you can simply do that by what YOU CHOOSE to put in your body at your next meal/snack or drink!  So CHOOSE WISELY and your body, health and life will reflect your choices!
